Convergence 2008

Every other year the Handweavers Guild of America sponsors the biggest weaving conference in the United States, Convergence. The Spinning and Weaving Association has partnered with HGA to bring a new benefit to spinning and weaving businesses, Business-to-Business (B2B) time on the floor of the market. Update: SWA’s Annual Meeting & Dinner will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2008, at the Tampa Bay Convention Center in Tampa Bay, Florida, from 7:00–8:30 pm. Please join us for fun, friendship and food, and learn what your trade association has been doing for you! There will be a social time from 6:15–7:00 pm with a buffet dinner and cash bar. The meeting will run from 7:00–8:30 pm. This is the perfect opportunity to learn what SWA has accomplished in the past year to help your business grow, and for you to take an active voice in the initiatives you want to see pursued in 2008–2009. The cost is $30, which includes a Caribbean dinner buffet and your first drink. RSVP by June 16, 2008, to irene@cottonclouds.com. Guests are welcome.
